Conrad was an outstanding landscape designer. Thousands of Pitt employees and students enjoy his work every day. His research was meticulous. Visitors came from around the world to see his Shakespeare garden next to the Cathedral of Learning. I am forever grateful that I knew him and can look at his beautiful plantings every day.
I am so sorry I am just hearing about this on February 6th. Carol and Conrad were devoted to each other, their beloved dog and their families. They knew how to be good friends. They knew how to overcome adversity. Conrad was a gift.

I had the pleasure of meeting Conrad’s lovely daughter Carolynn (she was the driver for the away team) to our school. We prayed for her beloved dad under these double rainbows.
