Clarence R. "Dutch" Giesmann's Obituary
Giesmann (Dutch) Clarence R. Clarence R. Giesmann, 90, of Baldwin on Thursday, September 7, 2017 passed away peacefully with loving family by his side. Loving husband of Shirley Giesmann and the late Patricia E. Giesmann; father of Clarence (Nancy) Giesmann Jr. and Susan Giesmann; son of the late Lillian (Weber) Giesmann and John G. Giesmann;brother of the late John W. (Harriet) Giesmann; grandfather of Dana(Shawn) Hoffman, Richard (Crystal) Giesmann and Paul Stadelman, Jr.; great grandfather to Justin and Jason Hoffman; and uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Clarence was a graduate of Baldwin High School in 1945 and Veteran of World War II from the 78th division of the 311th regiment of the United States Army. Clarence was also a long time employee of Pennsylvania American Water where he retired from in 1989. After retirement, Clarence traveled between Pittsburgh and Geneva, Florida as well as his camp in Pymatuning. He was a big football fan and never missed a game. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, September 10, 2017 and Monday, September 11, 2017 from 2 pm - 4 pm and 6 pm - 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 10 am in the Funeral Home Chapel. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
