Christine M. Ambrose's Obituary
Christine Mary Ambrose, 73, of Rostraver Township, PA, passed peacefully at home surrounded by her family on August 20, 2025. She was born in Pittsburgh on October 22, 1951 and grew up in Bethel Park to the late Roy H. Baxter and Mary A. Baxter.
Surviving to cherish her memory is her husband William A. Ambrose; her daughters Stacy A. Rhoads and Stephanie (Stanley) Marinos; grandsons Caden Hutchinson, Braydon Marinos and Rayce Rhoads; brother Roy L. (Sandra) Baxter; niece Kristin Baxter and nephew Brian Baxter.
Christine was a graduate of Bethel Park High School, the class of 1969. She worked in the Engineering Dept of the Bell Telephone Co. in Pittsburgh and as a Store Secretary and Receiving Department Secretary at Burlington Coat Factory. She was a faithful member of Gospel Alliance Church in Rostraver Township for many years.
In her spare time, Christine enjoyed vacationing with her family. She loved antiquing, doll collecting and taking care of her beloved pets and her flowers. On the weekends, she could often be found with her loving husband Bear at yard sales, garage sales, or selling at the Flea market. Christine would also send out cards to the sick and elderly in her church family and would help pack care boxes for our soldiers overseas. Above all, her greatest joy was her family. She cherished the time she spent with her daughters and grandsons.
