My stepmother, Christina Burke, was a very kind and caring person. When I met her at the wedding to my father, Walter, I felt so comfortable being with her. She was always interested in my life and accepting of me as a person. I remember visiting her and Dad at their home in Pleasant Hills which she nicely redecorated. We would sit in the kitchen talking and laughing, enjoying each other's company. I remember dressing up and going to Christmas mass at the Greek Orthodox church. It was a pleasure to be with her. I remember visiting Chris and Dad at their condo in Florida after Dad retired. What fun we had there. Time passed and we all got older. We kept in touch over the years. I called her a few weeks ago to check on her condition. I heard her sweet voice say \"Hi, Timmy\" for the last time. A warm light has gone out in my life. I will miss Chris dearly.
