Charles Winter's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Charles "Chuck" Winter, age 81, who left us on March 14, 2025. Born on January 1, 1944, Charles lived a life rich in love, laughter, and cherished memories.
Charles was not just a dedicated dental technician; he was an avid collector with a keen eye for unique treasures that brought him joy. Whether it be bowling or an adventurous walk outdoors he was happy to be sharing the good times with the ones he loved. His well-maintained fish tanks were a testament to his nurturing spirit.
He is survived by his beloved spouse, Linda Winter, his devoted daughter Melissa (Justin) Sturak and son Chuck Winter and siblings Doris (Ron) Lemp and Dick (Carol) Winter. All will carry his memory and spirit in their hearts forever.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Dr. Sylvester W. Winter and Luella Winter, as well as his brother Paul Winter.
The family will invite friends and loved ones to celebrate Charles's remarkable life with a visitation at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home on March 20, 2025, beginning at 2:00 PM, followed by a funeral service in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 7:00 PM. We hope to gather together to share stories, laughter, and the warmth of remembrance as we honor Charles's memory.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh. https://humaneanimalrescue.org/
