Charles R. “Chuck” Welding, age 83, of Baldwin Boro, passed away peacefully surrounded by the love of his family on Saturday, November 2, 2024. Chuck was born in Pittsburgh on March 3, 1941, the son of the late Joseph and Dorothy (Stein) Welding.
Chuck proudly served our country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He went on to enjoy a long career of 45 years in the automotive industry as a mechanic. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing in the horseshoe league. He was a fan of all Pittsburgh sports especially the Pirates and the Steelers, never missing an opportunity to cheer on a game.
Chuck found great joy traveling to Y-Knot Camp in West Hickory with family and friends where he enjoyed the outdoors through fishing and hunting. He met every definition of a family man, cherishing the moments spent and memories made alongside his wife with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
