Charles Procoffie's Obituary
Charles Procoffie, age 84, of Jefferson Hills, formerly of Bethel Park, passed away suddenly on October 28, 2020.
Charles is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Margaret (Gallagher) Procoffie; son, Charles (Vicki) Procoffie Jr.; four daughters, Connie (Bernie) Porzucek, Shirley (Judy Kirker) Procoffie, Tracey (Mike) Pittas, Peggy (Glenn) Carroll; five granddaughters, Molly (Tyler) DeLong, Mackenzie (Noah) Brode, Abbey Porzucek, Cassandra Pittas, Shannon Carroll; three grandsons, Michael Pittas, Nicholas Porzucek, Zac (Christa) Pittas; four great-granddaughters, Emmalina Brode, Adrienne Brode, Matilda Brode, Macie Pittas; two great-grandsons, Mason Pittas, Theodore DeLong; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Fred and Carl Procoffie; sister, Marge Sidick; and parents, Fred and Fannie Procoffie.
Charles loved to spend his time playing cards, hunting, and wood-working; but especially loved spending time with his family. His grandchildren and great-grandchildren were everything to him. He proudly served in the United States National Guard while raising his five children with the love of his life, Marge. Charles was a very hard worker who always made sure to provide for his family. He will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2020 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Monday, November 2, 2020 at 10 AM at the Funeral Home's Chapel.
