Charles G. Kirsch, 95, of Whitehall, embarked on his next adventure on November 7, 2017.
Charles is survived by his beloved Wife, of 43 years, Elaine. Loving Brother of; Ella (the late, Jack) Bower, Norma J. (the late Nicholas) Cerovac, Norman T. (Margaret) Kirsch; as well as Sister and Brother In-Laws, many nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, Clarence F. and Catherine V. Kirsch and Brothers; James (Wilma) Kirsch and William (Shirley) Kirsch.
Charles proudly served in WWII and was in the First Ranger Battalion. Charles had a love for Stock Cars and he was the owner and mechanic for Race Car Driver, Buddy O'Connor. He crashed many model airplanes in his two time stint in amateur aviation, and he loved sailing and teaching his friend's family to sail. In addition to camping with family and friends.
Family and friends will be received on Friday from 2 - 4 pm & 6 - 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 10 am, in the Funeral Home's Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Gabriel of the Sorrowful Virgin, 5200 Greenridge Dr., Pittsburgh PA 15236. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
