Charles H. "Chuck" Litwin
Age 87, of Castle Shannon, on Saturday, September 17, 2016. Loving husband of 59 years to Jean (Davis) Litwin; father of Vicki (Jeff) Peifer and the late Gregory Litwin; grandfather of Jeffrey, Ryan and Tori; uncle of Sandy Taylor and Linda Donauer; great uncle of Tyler Litwin and Tiffany Taylor. Chuck received an honorable service award from the U.S. Army for his service in the Korean War. For over 40 years, he was the Head Grounds Keeper for Keystone Oaks High School, where memorabilia tells the story that reflects the kind-hearted day to day life Chuck led. He was an avid Steeler fan, enjoyed gardening, loved animals and was thrilled with every opportunity to spend time with his grandchildren. A special thanks to the staff at Lawson Nursing Home for their love and care of Chuck over the past several years. Visitation will be held Tuesday 3-8 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10 am in St. Thomas a Becket Church. Entombment in Jefferson Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to the Alzheimer's Association - http://www.alz.org. Condolence may be given at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
