We are so going to miss Charles here at Jefferson. He was a favorite volunteer here. My first Sunday morning with him he brought in a New York Times paper and there was an article in it about how much a company was getting paid to do a business's signage. We devised ways to do it so much cheaper for half their price. Every week it was something different and always fun. We loved our visits with Michelle and her Dad who would do the communion rounds. I would call Charles when it was Reuben day and Reverend Paul would meet us in the cafeteria. Charles had just called the morning of the day he passed. We had another great talk especially since the election had just passed. I felt honored I talked to him just before he passed but I feel a huge loss and I know I'm not the only one. Thanks for the good times and for your compassion during the sad times. Heart felt condolences to the family. And a big thank you to Charles for making life better.
