Carol McLese McKee's Obituary
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Carol M. McKee, who was born on February 22, 1943, and passed away peacefully on April 27, 2026.
Carol was preceded in death by her devoted husband, John A. McKee. Together, they built a life centered on love, family, and cherished memories.
She leaves behind her loving daughter Lisa Eckly (Bernie) and their children Luke and Abby Evans, daughter Amy Vollbrecht and her children Jaekob and Jackson, and son John McKee (Nikki) and their children Taylor and Trevor. She was devoted to her grandchildren who brought her endless joy and whom she adored beyond measure. Her family will forever carry her love in their hearts.
Carol is also survived by her dear sisters, Kathy Ermacoff and Nancy Tustin and brother Edward Black (Dora Black); along with many extended family members and friends who will miss her deeply.
Carol found her greatest happiness in spending time with her family and especially treasured every moment with her grandchildren, whom she loved to spoil. She enjoyed reading, tending to her garden, and playing cards with her dear friends. She also had a special place in her heart for her sweet dog, Bella, who was a constant companion.
Carol will be remembered for her kindness, her warmth, and the love she so freely gave to everyone around her. Her legacy lives on in the family she cherished and the many lives she touched.
A visitation for family and friends will be held on April 29, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home 301 Curry Hollow Rd Pittsburgh PA 15236.
