Memory eternal! Recall Sonny's cheerfulness and his unique dance style at MYF dances, chaperoned by +Esther and James Brooks+ in the late 60's. He was loved by many with his smile and loving manner. My condolences to the families and friends touched by his loss. Fondly remembered.

I somehow in my grief forgot to mention that Sonny was universally liked and was loved by a lot of people. He was handsome, calm and fun to be with. He was someone that was always welcome, not just in my family but with most people that he met. He lives on in my heart.
Cal was always willing to help anyone at work. He always had a smile on his face. I will remember him fondly. Rest in peace Cal. Dorothy
Sonny and I are/were great friends. We grew up together in the 1950's and 60's Beechview. We had a small farm where Brashear high school is now standing. Sonny was a weekly fixture always helping me with chores and having adventures in what is now the Seldom Seen Greenway. Hunting, capturing snakes, salamanders, blue mud crayfish, building dams and snow igloos and sled riding. He helped with so many things. We took my donkey around downtown Pittsburgh collecting money for Children's Hospital, cleaning out the barn on occasion and even emptying my Mom's house after she passed away. A lifetime of loving friendship, sharing and respect for my GREAT FRIEND. The tears abound.
