Bryan Douglas Recker's Obituary
Bryan Douglas Recker, age 38, of Finleyville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, January 9, 2022.
Bryan is survived by his beloved Significant Other, Emily Duffner. Cherished son of Jim and Debbie Recker. Loving brother of Josh Recker and Eric (Jaimee) Recker. Uncle to Vava, Ella, and Leo. Bryan is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, as well as many friends.
He was preceded in death by his loving grandparents; Bob and Vava Railey and William and Elizabeth Recker; as well as his cousin, Chad Christian Recker; and his sister Kathryn Claire Recker.
Bryan was a master plumber who took great pride in his craft and working as a third generation plumber for Dupont Plumbing. He enjoyed spending time anywhere outdoors and fixing anything with a motor.
He was a fantastic cook and woodworker, and took great pleasure in building and helping others whenever they needed it as a confidant and a friend.
He was also a fantastic snowboarder and card player, and enjoyed a room full of good food and better friends, as well as spending time seeing the world with and living everyday with his girlfriend Emily.
He always lived in the moment, and gave anyone around him his full attention, support, and curiosity in whatever they were doing. He will be missed by all those who were lucky enough to experience his knowledge, kind soul, and infectious smile and laugh.
Family and friends are welcomed on Thursday, January 13, 2022 from 12 to 5 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Celebration of Life Service will follow at 5 pm in the Funeral Home's Chapel.
