Bonita "Bonnie" D. Sokolovic's Obituary
Bonita "Bonnie" Diane Sokolovic, age 77, of Baldwin, formerly of West Mifflin, passed away on October 24, 2021.
Bonnie is survived by her daughter, Laura Sokolovic; son, Robert Knight; brother, Frank (Bernadette) Sokolovic; nieces, Kelly (Brian) Julian, Tracey (Michael) Boes and Bonnie Gardone; great-niece, Ashley (Chris) Maurer; two great-nephews, Tristan Boes and Mason Boes; as well as many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Gerry Sokolovic; grandparents, John and Laura Seffens; grandmother, Ann Sokolovic Cibula; and aunt, Hazel Seffens.
Bonnie was a hairdresser her whole life. When she was not taking care of everyone's hair, she was taking care of her aunt Hazel who was handicapped. Family was very important to Bonnie, she always looked forward to visits from her nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received on Friday, October 29th from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and Saturday, October 30th from 10 A.M. until the time of service at 12 P.M. at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday, October 30th at 12 NOON in the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
As Bonnie always said, "there is no excuse for animal abuse." Please make memorial contributions in her name to any animal rescue group or organization of your choice.
