Betty J. Brown, age 92, of Pittsburgh, went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 29, 2018.
Betty is survived by her loving children John H. (Debbie) Brown and David S. (Linda) Brown. Cherished Nanny of Josh (Jennifer) Brown, Zach (Mary) Brown. Adored sister of Marlene Hart and Lillian "Snooky" (the late Patrick "Buzzy") Lawlor; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Paul S. Brown; parents, John and Bessie Hart; Grandson, Nathaniel Brown, and her sisters Virginia O'Connor and Sadie Hart.
Betty was a loving person who lived in a Christ-like way, she will be sorely missed.
A Blessing Service will be held on Thursday, October 4, 2018, at 2 pm, at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Light of Life Rescue Mission at www.lightoflife.org , Betty's favorite charity. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
