Betsy H. Macko, a beacon of kindness and joy, passed away on October 18, 2024. Betsy's life was a tapestry woven with love, laughter, and the pursuit of happiness. She was a cherished wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. Her unwavering kindness touched the hearts of all who knew her.
Betsy is survived by her loving husband of 66 years Andrew C Macko; Loving Children Larry (Charlene) Macko, Susan (Jeff) Eicholtz; grandchildren Craig (Danielle) Yogan, Chad Yogan; step-grandchildren Ian (Samantha) Eicholtz, step-great grandchildren Jagger Eicholtz and Remi Eicholtz; brother Larry Robinson.
Betsy was preceded in death by her parents, Josephine and Edward Robinson.
An avid enthusiast of life's simple pleasures, Betsy found joy in golfing, bowling, knitting, playing cards, visiting casinos, and building puzzles.
Betsy's kindness was her hallmark, and it was reflected in her everyday interactions. She had the rare ability to make everyone feel special, heard, and loved. Her warmth and generosity of spirit were infectious, and her legacy of kindness is a treasure that her family and friends will carry forward.
As we bid farewell to Betsy H. Macko, we celebrate a life lived to the fullest, marked by the love she gave and the love she received. Her memory will be cherished and kept alive in the stories shared, the laughter remembered, and the lives she touched.
Friends and family will be received Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 PM followed by a blessing service at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
