Bert's sister, Diane, and I took him in when he was 12. Sitting on the front porch one day, he spotted Suzy Hinda delivering newspapers. Suddenly his boring, mundane life found meaning. I told Diane, \"Here we go.\" Years later they were married, had two wonderful daughters, and survived all the ups and downs that life throws at all of us. Now they are together again, resting in each other's arms, free from all the hinderances of this world. Rest in peace, dear Bert. We love you.
