Barbara A. Smith's Obituary
Barbara Smith, age 79, of Bethel Park, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025.
Barbara worked at Kane as a hairdresser for many years and later worked as an usher at Heinz Hall. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening, and shopping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family, especially the cherished moments of playing with her grandchildren and watching them grow. Barbara was a devout Catholic who spent her life caring for others and providing for her family.
Barbara is survived by her children Geoff (Amanda) Smith and Matthew (Corey) Smith; grandchildren Nova, Bradley, Gemma and Lainey; siblings Bonnie (Frank) McClory Kramer, Regis "Rick" McClory, Charles "Chuck" McClory, Jenny Becker Bach, Pat (James) Becker Martin, and Graceann (Richard) McClory Gasior; sister in law Beverly Smith McKinney; she is also survived by many beloved nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband Gerald "Jerry" Smith; her father, William "Bill" Becker; and her mother Grace Gitzen McClory, and her step-father Regis McClory.
Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for visitation on Sunday, January 4, 2026 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Hope Parish, St. Germaine Church, 7003 Baptist Rd, Bethel Park, PA 15102. Interment to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
