Barbara (Barbie) Ivaska passed away at age 87 on March 10th, 2020. Preceded in death by her husband Albert and son-in-law Martin Balaban.
Beloved mother of Cheryl (Gary) Sheranko from Bedford Ohio, Diane (the late Martin) Balaban from Elizabeth, Larry Ivaska from Munhall, Michael and Alan at home.
Cherished grandmother of Michael Sheranko from Cleveland Ohio, Liz (Mike) Mazurkiewicz from Parma Ohio, Jodie (James) Szmyd from Carroll Township, Nick, Chris, Jonathan and Brandon Ivaska from Munhall.
Great grandmother of Cole, Elliot, and Emory Mazurkiewicz from Parma Ohio.
Brothers Dominic (Debbie) Garella from West Mifflin, Joseph and Frank from West Mifflin, sister Margaret Garella from Tennessee.
Also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as her fur-children Katie and Abbey. She was a retired waitress from Eat N’ Park in McKeesport with 41 years service. Past Girl Scout Leader from Homestead Park. At the request of the deceased there will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Burial to follow at Jefferson Memorial Park. Arrangements handled by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home.
