Audrie Marie Hinerman's Obituary
Audrie Hinerman, 82, passed away on May 4, 2025, in Shaker Heights, OH.
Audrie Hinerman was born on June 13, 1942 in Clairton, PA, to Jack and Mary Voytell.
Audrie graduated from Clairton High School in 1960 and went on to earn a BS from Pittsburgh University and a Master's degree in microbiology from West Virginia University. She started her career as a microbiologist and went on to work for Dupont.
Audrie married Kenneth Hinerman II, whom she married on July 21, 1968 in Clairton, PA. The couple had two children, Kenneth Hinerman III and Michele (Hinerman) Wilham.
Audrie was best known for being a loyal and loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend to many lifelong friends.
Audrie is survived by her spouse, Kenneth Hinerman II; and her two children, Kenneth Hinerman III and Michele (Jonathan) Wilham; five grandchildren, Ashley Hinerman, Makenzie Hinerman, Natalie Hinerman, Hailey Wilham, and Jack Wilham; and her nieces and nephews, Audrie Ouellette, Lisa Albrecht, Kimberly Wagner, Curt Voytell, Kenneth Voytell and Brook Dickerson; and mother-in-law, Marie Hinerman.
Audrie is also survived by an amazing group of lifelong friends, Jetty & Joe Stockel, Bob & Carol Miranda, Peggy Valtos, Stewart & Debbie Morick and Paul & Josie Piccone, Kathy O'Leary and Grace Brynn. Audrie's quality of life was vastly improved over the last several years thanks to her physical therapist who became a close family friend, Linda Brinkerhoff.
Audrie is preceded in death by her father, parents, Jack and Mary Voytell; her sister, Dorthy (Ross) Valvo, and brother, Kenneth (June) Voytell.
Family and friends will be received on Friday May 9, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, at 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on May 10, 2025 10 A.M. at Triumph of the Holy Cross Parish, St. Elizabeth of Hungary Worship Site, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
Entombment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Mausoleum, followed by lunch to celebrate Audrie's life.
Flowers are available through the Jefferson Memorial Website or memorial donations can be made in Audrie's name to the American Lung Association.
