Audrey G. Bruce's Obituary
Audrey G. Bruce, age 96, of Bethel Park, passed away on February 25, 2024. Born on February 5, 1928 to the late James and Dorothy Hallam, she is preceded in death by her husband Charles R. Bruce and beloved daughter Sharon L. Lammie.
She is survived by her granddaughters Kelli Maxwell and Katelyn Lammie (Eric Johnston); great-grandchildren Hadley, Elodie, and Lainey Maxwell and Fern Johnston; son-in-law Guy Lammie; and many dear friends.
Audrey’s friends and family were a source of immense happiness. She prided herself on several lifelong relationships, none more important than the one with her husband who was a fixture in her life starting at her baptism. She enjoyed strong bonds with her brothers and sisters-in-law, as well as many friendships formed throughout her life. She was beyond proud of her granddaughters and their accomplishments and would share frequently with those willing to listen. She was a wonderful friend, a good listener, and loved being there for the small and big moments.
An avid reader, Audrey also loved playing with friends in many different card and game circles. She was well traveled and loved to recount stories of her adventures. A lifelong learner, Audrey never missed an episode of Jeopardy or her daily crossword puzzle.
