She was a very special aunt and her laugh made everyone laugh. The last time I had the opportunity to spend time with her was with my Mom and sisters and Cindy and Cheryl. We spent a lot of time laughing. I am going to miss you Aunt Jan, but your laugh will always echo in my heart.

‘Hello Mrs. Shatting my name is Rich Virgin and I’m here to see your daughter.’ These were the first words I ever said to Jan Shatting and I was 15 years old at the time. She was a friend, great mother in law, grandmother (Geeg), great grandmother and mother for the past 50 years! I am blessed to have known such a lovely lady.
I was fortunate to be named after my Aunt Jan . I will treasure that always and think of her every time someone calls my name Xoxo
