Anthony Joseph Schmiedlin Nelson's Obituary
Anthony Joseph Schmiedlin Nelson, age 21, of West Mifflin, formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away suddenly on November 21, 2021.
Anthony is survived by his grandparents/parents, Evan B. and Maria L. Nelson; grandfather, Anthony (Joanne) Moats; sister, Romy Nelson; aunt, Meg (David) Stefanac; uncle, Michael (Sara) Moats; cousins, Elisabeth, Jackson, Angelina, and Lucy; as well as many friends. He is also survived by his girlfriend, Lexi, and 3 cats, Pooh, Rue, and Remy.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jesse J. Schmiedlin and Susan J. Moats.
Anthony, who had started out playing the viola and saxophone in his youth, had expanded his musical talents to writing and performing rap songs and he aspired to be a rap star. He had a gift for talking to people and making them feel special and important, and he liked to dress to impress, always wearing his favorite pairs of Jordans.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm and on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 2:00 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Ceremony will follow Wednesday, December 1, 2021, 2:00 pm, at Funeral Home Chapel.
