Anthony "Tony" A. Krizmanich, age 79, of Pittsburgh, passed away surrounded by his loving family on March 29, 2018.
Tony is survived by his beloved wife of 52 years, Eileen (Krupko) Krizmanich. Loving father of Linda (Barry) Zug, Mark (Jodi) Krizmanich and Michael (Britt) Krizmanich. Cherished Grandpa of Michael Krizmanich, Sarah Krizmanich, Alexandria Krizmanich, Garrett Zug, Annika Krizmanich, Linnea Krizmanich, Lars Krizmanich, and Maja Krizmanich. Loving brother to Madeline (John) Sawka, Louis (Kathy) Krizmanich, sister in-law, Kathy Krizmanich and brother in-law, Edmund (Fatima) Krupko, as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Louie and Margaret Krizmanich and his brother, Steve Krizmanich. Retired from Mellon Bank, Tony was an Official Scorer for the Pittsburgh Pirates for 37 years. A lifelong member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, he volunteered in many capacities such as Athletic Council, Bingo, Spring-a-Rama and Church Lector. Above all he loved traveling to visit his children and grandchildren. He was also an avid Pittsburgh Sports Fan as well as a fan of Doo-Wop music. Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 2, 2018 from 12 pm to 2 pm & 5 pm to 8 pm at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10 am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh PA, 15236.
