Anna M. Lubash's Obituary
Anna M. Lubash, a cherished mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on March 15, 2024, at the age of 87. Born on September 7, 1936, in Pittsburgh, PA, Anna was a beacon of joy and kindness to all who knew her.
Anna's life was marked by her unwavering devotion to her family. She is survived by her loving daughter, Karen (Tom) Christ, and her son, James Lubash. Anna's legacy continues through her grandchildren, Kevin (Becky) Wilson, Lauren (Mike) Lubash, Jimmy Lubash, Jesse Lubash, and Justin Lubash. Her great-grandchildren, Allie, Maddie, CJ, Michael, Elijah, Emilia, Mila, Jackson, and Jonathon, brought her immeasurable happiness and were the light of her life.
Preceded in death by her mother, Anna's spirit was a testament to her love and the values she instilled in her. Her life was a tapestry of cherished moments spent with her family, whether it was a sunny day at the beach, an exciting game of bingo, or simply enjoying each other's company. Anna's presence was a gift to those around her, and her warmth and generosity knew no bounds. Her laughter was contagious, her smile could light up a room, and her kindness touched the hearts of many.
A memorial service for Anna will be held on Thursday, March 21, 2024 at 12 noon at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, 15236. Burial will take place at Jefferson Memorial Park.
