Ann Bernadine Vance, 90, of West Mifflin, formerly of Whitehall, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 17, 2017. She was born in North Braddock, Pennsylvania on December 28, 1926, to Stephen and Ann Mizla. Ann was preceded in death by her beloved spouse of 65 years, Edward P. Vance who passed in 2013.
Ann is survived by her children Monica A. (Richard) Huselton, Cynthia M. (Roman Czornij) Walker and Edward J. (Darlene) Vance; her grandsons, James (Melissa), Joseph, Edward and Jared; great-grandson Shepard; as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her Father, Stephen Mizla; Mother, Ann Mizla; husband, Edward P. Vance; her siblings, Regina, Evelyn, William, Cyril, Stephen and Joseph.
Ann was most proud of her family, especially her grandsons and her great-grandson. Ann was an active member of AARP and contributed to St. Elizabeth of Hungary Parish regularly. She was a beloved resident of Arrowood Retirement Community who will be deeply missed.
Friends will be received on Friday 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm & 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted Saturday 10 am at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church, 1 Grove Place, Pittsburgh Pa 15236.
