Angela Magliocchi DalPos' Obituary
Cherished wife of 58 years to Roy who preceded her in death 2013. Beloved mother of Roxanne and Alan (Dolores). Loving grandmother of Dan (Darby), John (Brooke); Step-grandmother of David (Kim); great-grandmother of Deacon, Harper, Nico, and Arlo who preceded her in death in 2022. Sister of Tina and Joann who preceded her in death and Betty of Natrona Heights. Daughter of John and Rose Magliocchi both of whom preceded her in death.
Ange was the face of Nativity Parish for many years working both in the school and rectory. She was an active member of the Cursillo movement in Pittsburgh for a number of years. Ange continued her church participation in Arizona becoming active in doing church readings and meeting with Cursillo and Women's Guild. Ange was devoted to her faith and family. She gave generously to charitable causes, most specifically those that feed the poor. She embraced her children grandchildren, and great grandchildren with loving open arms. She was a trivia lover and enjoyed trivia games up to the time of her passing. Ange and Roy loved to dance and enjoyed many joyful trips together visiting sites and events in several states. Her favorite pastime was reading James Patterson novels.
Family and friends are welcome on Saturday, April 29, 2023, from 10 am until 12 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh.
A Blessing Service will be held in the funeral home's chapel at 12 pm.
