Altha A. Zeiler's Obituary
Altha A. Zeiler, age 88, passed away after a nearly six year illness at Providence Point Retirement Community. Altha was employed as a secretary at the Pittsburgh financial firm of Reed Lear & Co. in 1947. She retired in 1996 from Smith Barney Morgan Stanley after 45 years of service. Daughter of William C. and Martha Deemer Zeiler of Lincoln Place. She is predeceased by her siblings George W. Zeiler, Ronald G. Zeiler, and Janet Fedorchak. Altha is survived by her sister Mrs. Lois Skrabut of Palm Coast, FL and her cherished nieces and nephews. Altha enjoyed her poodles, ceramics, traveling and visiting local casinos. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Animal Friends, 562 Camp Horne Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Family and friends will be received on Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 pm and Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2 to 3 pm at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pittsburgh PA 15236. A Blessing Service will be held on Saturday at 3 pm in the funeral home's chapel. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
