Aloysius Joseph Shore's Obituary
Aloysius Joseph Shore, 93, of Baldwin, went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 8, 2020.
Al is preceded in death by his beloved late wife, Grace Elizabeth Shore and grandson, Marc Napolitano. He is survived by his loving family, Daughter, Debbie (Mike) Napolitano; Son, Darel (Diane) Shore; Daughter, Diana (Tom) Schweitzer, Grandchildren, Melissa (George) Schweitzer, Tracy Comfort, Thomas Schweitzer, Christopher Shore, Holly (Rob) Miller, Nicole (Brian) Suchy, and Great Grandchildren Hunter and Maddoux Schweitzer, Isabella and Aubrey Comfort, Abbie and Allie Schweitzer, Summer and Brooklyn Miller, and Grace and Lucas Suchy. Al is survived by many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hilda and John Shore and many siblings. He is survived by his sisters Hilda and Dolores.
Al was a wonderful and kind man with incredible family values. Al enjoyed spending time with his family, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He was always up to date with the news and read the paper every day. He was a dedicated member of his parish, Holy Angels Church, and served as an usher for many years. Al was a member of the Democratic Party in his borough and did volunteer work. Al was a huge fan of Pittsburgh sports. He enjoyed watching baseball the most. He was a fan of game shows on morning tv. Al and his late wife enjoyed shopping together. They frequented Eat n Park and Armstrong’s for dinner. He often helped Grace with prep work while cooking. Al enjoyed being outside and caring for the birds. He always treated the waste management workers and mailman to treats. Al was very close with and loved by his neighbors.
Al was firm in his faith and never faltered. His most used phrase was, “The Good Lord Willing!” He worked in the mill for many years until retirement. Al was a hard worker that built a large, loving family. He was head over heels in love with his late wife, Grace, and they were married for nearly 68 years. They are now reunited in their final resting place in Heaven. Al will be deeply missed by all that knew and loved him.
