Allison A. (Rilling) Crawford's Obituary
It is with great sadness that the family of Allison A. (Rilling) Crawford announces her passing on September 6, after a heroic battle with ovarian cancer, at the age of 40 years. Allison will forever be remembered by her husband and best friend Jeffrey, and their precious children, Austin and June, by her loving parents Annette (Meko) and Gary Rilling, and by her older brother, Jonathan and his wife Kristi. Allison will also be remembered by Tom and Kathy Crawford, Amy and Mel, TR and Anne Marie and Kelly Crawford. She will be missed by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and friends. A 1996 graduate of General McLane High School, Allison earned her undergraduate degree and an MBA from Clarion University. She worked for Verizon Wireless, and most recently was employed as a Project Manager for FedEx. Allison was a strong, driven, capable young woman who prided herself in giving her best effort in all things. The Rilling family will be eternally indebted to Allison’s in-laws, Tom and Kathy Crawford, for their love and acceptance, and for the care they provided Allison’s family during her many hospitalizations and surgeries during the past eight months. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Crawford children c/o Jeffrey Crawford. Allison’s funeral service will be held at the Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15236 on Sunday, September 9, 2018. Visiting hours will be held from 12-6 PM with a prayer service at the funeral home immediately following at 6 PM. Northway Christian Community will conduct the service. A memorial celebration of Allison’s life will be held at Grace McKean Church, Erie, PA at a date to be announced.
