Alice Steiner's Obituary
Alice M. Steiner, age 92, of Upper St. Clair, formerly of South Side, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on October 15, 2020.
Wife of the late Stephen J. Steiner. Loving mother to the late Alice Ann Sullivan, Stephanie (Tim) Javorski, Gail (Jerry) Abbott, and Mitch (Kim) Steiner. Devoted grandmother to Christine (Tommy) Carroll, Megan Abbott, Stephen Steiner, and Sarah (Wayne) Cool. Beloved GG to Aubrey Carroll. Preceded in death by her parents, Leo and Alice Turowski.
An avid sports lover, Alice especially loved watching her Pittsburgh Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates. Her hobbies included cross-stitch needlework and in her younger days, bowling, dancing, and roller skating. Her family will especially miss her quick wit and banter, an impromptu card game, and the infamous "grandma wave".
Services are private and have been entrusted to the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236.
