Age 94, of Whitehall, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, January 7, 2016. She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on May 12, 1921, to the late Walter and Bertha Eckert. Alice was preceded in death by her beloved husband, George. She is survived by her children, Ronald (Cynthia), Richard (Virginia) and Linda Goldbach; grandchildren Ryan, Drew, Kelly, and Krista Goldbach. Alice was a talented artist, an avid bridge player, and a member of Whitehall Arts, South Hills Art League, and St. Elizabeth Seniors. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, January 10, from 1 - 3 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Elizabeth of Hungary Church, on Monday at 10 AM (EVERYONE PLEASE MEET AT CHURCH). Entombment will immediately follow at Queen of Heaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family has suggested donations be made to the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank. Condolences may be left at www.jeffersonmemorial.biz.
