Alberta Bongartz Petruzzi's Obituary
Alberta Bongartz Petruzzi, age 86, of Baldwin, formerly of Whitaker, went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 26, 2020.
Alberta was the devoted and faithful wife to the late Frank Petruzzi; the devoted mother to Joyce and Edward Marasco, the late Janice Gottlieb and David Gottlieb, and Daniel and Lisa Petruzzi; grandmother of Matthew and Sarah Marasco, Adam and Chelsea Marasco, Eric and Claire Marasco, Luke Petruzzi, Joshua Gottlieb, and Marina Petruzzi, as well as the beloved aunt of numerous nieces and nephews. Alberta was also the sister of the late Sister Elizabeth Ann Bongartz, Joseph Bongartz, Floretta Urban, Margaret Margo, Bernadette Balistrieri, Mary Obringer, Rita Kovello, Sister Barbara Ann Bongartz, James Bongartz, and Elizabeth Petro; and the daughter of the late Elizabeth and Casper Bongartz.
Alberta will be remembered for her dedication to her family, friends, and faith. She never wavered in her commitment to helping anyone in need. Alberta had a very strong work ethic as a pioneering business owner of AAA Engraving for 50 years. She was an avid card player who loved all games of chance. She will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew her.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 1st, 2020 from 1 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM at the JEFFERSON MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, INC., 301 Curry Hollow Rd., Pleasant Hills, 15236. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, December 2nd, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Blessed Trinity Parish, St. Albert the Great Worship Site, 3198 Schieck St, Pittsburgh, 15227.
