Albert A. Henze, Sr.'s Obituary
Albert A. Henze, Sr., 84, of Finleyville, passed away on July 22, 2026.
Al grew up in Pleasant Hills. He worked as a heavy equipment operator until retirement and was a proud member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 126 and a dedicated member of the Elrama Community Church and a lifetime member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Department.
He loved spending time in the great outdoors. The woody landscape will continue to hold fond memories of Al - from fishing and hunting trips, to motorcycle rides. Mostly he loved spending time with his family. He was the kind of person you could count on to be there and be truly present in your life. He was a vivid storyteller and always found the humor in any situation.
If you were ever in need he would be there to provide it for you or lend a hand, expecting nothing in return. His kindness and generosity will always be remembered.
Albert was a loving husband to Andrea Henze for 65 years; devoted father of Albert A. Henze Jr. (Debbie), Lisa Owens (Thomas), and Mary E Henze; cherished grandfather to many grandchildren; beloved great-grandfather to many great-grandchildren and brother to William Henze, Donald Henze and Joy Pattillo.
He is preceded in death by his parents Mary and William Henze.
A Memorial Service will be held in Al's honor on August 22, 2026 at 11:00am at Elrama Community Church 19 Ramage Ave, Elrama, PA 15038. A luncheon will follow. All are welcome to attend.
Memorial contributions are encouraged to Bridges Hospice, in gratitude for their expert care and compassion. https://www.bridgeshospice.org/donate
