Albert F. Gediohn's Obituary
Albert F. Gediohn, 69, of Bethel Park, PA. passed away on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2025.
Albert spent his life as a Pressman for the Pittsburgh Post Gazette. He was known for his jovial personality, and would often be found joking with colleagues, brightening the workday with laughter and good cheer.
Albert had a love for many different things in his life. He adored his red Corvette and spent years adding to his coin collection. He also loved trips to the Casino to play his favorite game, Flaming 7's. A family man at his core, his greatest joy was spending time with his grandchildren. Vacations and cruises were treasured family times, and simple pleasures like tending to his lawn atop his riding mower or making a fire at the family camp brought him contentment.
Albert is survived by his loving wife Marsha Gediohn; son Albert W. (Christina) Gediohn ; grandchildren Athena and Aurora Gediohn; siblings Patty Higgins, Judy Winter, Jean Jurgovsky, Michael Gediohn, Mary Anne Kirchner and Joseph Gediohn; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his son Robert F. Gediohn and his parents Albert Frank Sr. and Jean Gediohn.
Albert's memory will forever be in the hearts of those who loved him, and his legacy is echoed in the laughter and unity of his beloved family. He leaves behind a world brighter for his presence and a family fortified by his love and shared adventures.
Friends and family will be received from 2-4pm and 7-9pm on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Inc., 301 Curry Hollow Road, Pleasant Hills, PA, 15236.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2pm on Thursday, April 17, 2025 in the Funeral Home Chapel.
Burial will be handled by Jefferson Memorial Park.
