Adelbert L. McElrath's Obituary
Adelbert L. McElrath, age 93, of Ambridge, formerly of Crafton, entered into eternal rest on June 14, 2022.
Preceded in death by his loving wife of 61 years, Louise K. (Stone) McElrath, as well as his parents and siblings.
He is survived by his children, David (Linda) McElrath, Kathryn (the late Brian) Wiltshire, Deborah (Ronald) Sventy, Cynthia (Earl) Crowe and the late Dale K. McElrath. Beloved grandfather of nine, and great-grandfather of 13.
Adelbert worked at Continental Can Co. for 36 years and as a Crafton School Guard. He was Assistant Fire Chief and Capitan for Crafton Volunteer Fire Department for over 22 years. He was an avid NASCAR fan. Above all, he loved spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday, June 20, 2022 from 2:00-4:00PM and 6:00-8:00PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, 301 Curry Hollow Road Pittsburgh, PA 15236.
A Chapel Service will be held Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 10:00AM Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Crafton Volunteer Fire Dept., 8 Stotz Ave. Crafton, PA 15205.
