GARDEN OF FAITHFUL FRIENDS


Jefferson Memorial’s most unique and modern garden is a garden for pets and their parents.

The passing of a pet can leave a family with an aching heart, just like the loss of a family member or dear friend. Finally, there is a resting place for your beloved pet that has given you unconditional love and companionship all their lives. We all love our pets and want to know they are in a safe and respectful place.  Our Garden of Faithful Friends allows your pet to stay at your side forever. 

 

 

PET REMOVAL SERVICE FEE


If you are unable or uncomfortable transporting your pet to the cemetery, we will pick him/her up from your home or veterinary hospital and set up a convenient time to meet with you at the cemetery.

  • Pet removal 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. - $75

  • Pet removal 4:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. - $105

Please note: All pet burials require a casket or alternative container.

 

 

RECEIVING YOUR PET


Our facility is staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Saturday. We request that you call ahead to (412) 655-4500 so we are prepared to give you our undivided attention in receiving your pet. If you should need us at a time when we are not staffed the answering service will have a member of our pet staff return your call.

 

 

PET VISITATION


Many pet parents find that having a period of visitation time with their pet before interment is just as important as those mourning the loss of a human companion. The visitation process can be a healthy aid when grieving the loss of your pet and is a process that promotes healing. Jefferson Memorial provides a comfortable place where family, friends and even other pets can gather for sharing and support.
